From its founding by St. Ignatius of Loyola, the Society of Jesus has relied on women to assist in their ministry. In the last few decades, this relationship has deepened into a partnership that has enlivened Jesuit works like Georgetown. Much has been accomplished though more needs to be done. The Fall 2024 Dahlgren Dialogue—a collaboration between the Office of Mission & Ministry and the Initiative on Catholic Social Thought & Public Life—will focus on the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine, the Middle East and Sudan in order to explore how we can respond to these crises and their immense human and moral cost. This event will be both in person and livestreamed by the Initiative on Catholic Social Thought & Public Life.
