From the Desert to the Center of Life: Spirituality's Public Consequence

Sister Simone Campbell, SSS, a very public figure on Capitol Hill and in the media, speaks openly and intimately about her own spiritual journey and how the people she meets in her work - from powerful politicians to regular folks with problems - inspire her work and ministry. As a member of the religious order Sisters of Social Service, Sister Simone lives out her vocation as Executive Director of
NETWORK Lobby for Catholic Social Justice, working to create a society that promotes justice and the dignity of all in the abundance of God's creation. Sr. Simone has led five cross-country "Nuns on the Bus" trips focused on economic justice, comprehensive immigration reform, and bridging divides in politics and society.
